Why should you stop making ads like an alien? (And what to do instead)
Most of the ads people make aren’t really the best(to be generous).
They have emotions, and empathy and still manage to make bad ads.
Imagine what an alien without emotions would make.
Spoiler, not really good ad.
Why are you then trying to be an alien yourself?
Why being trying to be an alien isn’t the best option for you and your business
Well, to be frank with you, probably the number one reason is because the USA would probably experiment on you.
Aside from that, your ads won’t work.
Your ads not working means you lose time and money, which means your business is going bankrupts.
How to make an ad like a human being instead of an alien
Being human is knowing what other people feel, want, and all that good stuff which we definitely won’t go through now.
In terms of marketing, it literally means a few things:
- Don’t put your logo first
- Don’t talk about you as soon as you can(if I see someone writing “At ‘company’s name, we…” I will personally come and nuke your home)
- Talk about their problems
- Talk about their needs
- Don’t use alien language
Not using alien language
I won’t focus on the first 4 things because they’re easy to understand, but I want to quickly elaborate on this point.
Using alien language means speaking in a way nobody really speaks even though everyone understands.
Let me give an example:
“Business owners, are you looking for more clients?”
“You’re looking for opportunity through various avenues, right?”
The first one sounds like something you would hear from a friend, a colleague, a business partner, or any human being who is remotely normal.
The other one is grammatically correct, is an “intelligent”(sounds a bit, but still not) sentence, and all of that stuff, BUT…
It’s weird.
It’s outwardly.
It’s not THEIR language.
It’s an alien language.
Your marketing will improve 10 times just by changing your language from alien to a regular, personal one.
Start doing this immediately, and your wallet will be really thankful.
