Why do you have to stop doing branding?
Branding is the biggest scam in the business world.
Every business owner aspires to have a brand.
A brand like Coca-Cola, LV, Rolls Royce, and all other big and famous brands.
I understand where this is coming from.
These big brands are well-known because they are as successful as you can get.
However, investing even a second in branding is the biggest waste of time and energy you can do.
Let me explain to you why.
Do you have $60 million for the marketing budget?
Most likely no.
They do, and that’s why are they doing it.
I, you, and 99.999% of other businesses can’t do such a thing.
And that’s totally fine because it’s useless.
Coca-Cola’s $20 million ad doesn’t get them 0.0001% return on investment.
Why are they doing it then?
Because they can.
They are just cementing their reputation and brand awareness.
The thing they are not doing is…selling.
They are not selling.
And this is the main reason you need to stop looking up to them.
You’re looking up to businesses that are on the finish line, and you’re in the middle of the race.
You need to work out how did they end up there.
And believe me, they didn’t do it through branding.
Unless your business makes $1 billion a year, nobody cares.
Absolutely nobody.
Neither should you.
You should focus only on one thing, and invest in one thing only.
Selling.
