The one rule to follow to make a great video ad 


There are hundreds of things you need to consider when making an ad.



Of course, you can’t, and you shouldn’t even bother to pay attention to everything.



There are a few extremely important things but even then, there is one specific rule which is on top. 



For the most important thing, it’s pretty easy actually.



People just don’t know about it because it’s under their noses.



This is the reason why everyone struggles when writing an ad.



Even when you write it, it maybe doesn’t give you the results you want.



You spend time, money, and so much energy on something that won’t pay back even 1%.



All of these things happen exactly because you aren’t applying this rule which I’m already applying.



Most people don’t because they tend to make their marketing and advertising “too professional”. 



They overdo it always, especially on websites but don’t get me started on that. 



They write their ads/scripts like they need to go to a lawyer and a judge to present if their ad is legal or not.



Relax a bit. 



The key rule to making anything about marketing, especially ads, is to…



Talk like a human being.



Really simple.



And you know this works absolutely without any doubt?



You’re selling to human beings(if you’re selling to animals or aliens, I would really like you to teach me how).



Contrary to popular belief, humans like to talk to humans.



At least humans I know.



I know a few people who talk to cats but we won’t count them. 



Just imagine you’re in a social interaction.



“So, what do you do?”



“I’m a chiropractor in {place}.” 


“Oh really? My neck hurts a bit. Could you help me with that?”   *because you’re targeting people who are interested in your service we go with the interested person



“Just leave me your number and I’ll contact you.”



That’s it. Literally just that.



For the headline, imagine you’re coming up to talk to a person who is checking out carpet-washing companies.



The logical starter is: “Are you looking for a carpet cleaner?”



That’s the headline. Done.



It’s that simple. 



Imagine you’re talking with a human in a bar, a restaurant, or on a street.



If the person is looking for your service, what would you tell them?



Don’t overdo it with professionalism, only lawyers and politicians like that.
