A mistake that can destroy your business and how to avoid it easily!
If you have a physical business, you're probably making this mistake.
It's okay.
Many people are doing the same thing because it seems logical, especially without good marketing knowledge.
I don't have a physical business, but I had many clients that had, and they made this same mistake 9 out of 10 times.
It seems like the right thing to do, but I'm going to explain why it is a fatal mistake and how to avoid making it do the right thing.
Just to note, your business will fail eventually.
If you keep doing this, it's just a matter of time, but it's guaranteed.
The sooner you fix this, the better for you.
Much better.
Let's get into it.
You have to stop advertising people's pains, problems, and desires.
Yes, I'm not sarcastic, this is actually true.
The basic principle of marketing is to target people's desires and pains, but not always.
Let me give you a few examples.
If you're a dentist, do you think you need to put "It's bad to have a bad tooth..."?
Because...people know that.
If you're a car dealership owner, would it be smart to advertise on how important owning a car is?
Well not, everyone knows that.
You need to understand that when your business is providing needs that people are aware they need(owning a car, fixing their tooth, getting rid of back pain...), you don't need to tell them why is it important.
It's obvious.
It would be a different story for a wedding planner or tight-space cleaner.
You don't think every day about planning a wedding or is there dirt between cables beneath your floor.
It depends on the service, but when we're talking about stuff everyone's aware of, there's one thing you have to do.
You advertise yourself.
Something as simple as:
"Does your tooth hurt?
We can fix that!
I'm a dentist and located in X.
Film out the form and book an appointment now. "
As simple as that and it will be a thousand times better than anything steroid injected as informing you why it's horrible having a bad tooth.
If explained in short terms, make people aware that you can fix the problems they are already trying to fix.
Don't complicate it, and keep it simple.
This is just one of the main things to make an ad that SELLS and you can learn all of the others in my other articles, or on the internet, but it will take time and patience.
Or...you can work with someone knowledgeable and experienced(pointing all the fingers to me), and let them handle all that stuff while you take care of your business as you should.
